Door Entry System - Salto Systems

Smart, secure and innovative, the SALTO handle sets need no hard wiring, yet provide a fully networked electronic locking solution. Utilising state-of-the-art electronics and distributed intelligence, information is passed between microprocessors in the escutcheon and the key cards.

Networked Electronic Access Control to every door with no hard wiring! SALTO electronic handle sets are battery operated, quick and easy to install. Ideal for commercial offices, hotels, universities, resorts, student accomodation, hospitals, schools, aged care facilities etc.

The SALTO Virtual Network (SVN) allows stand alone locks to read, receive and write information via "smart carriers" (cards/tags). User related information is stored in an encrypted format on the ID carriers, on-line wall readers are able to update (and receive information from) the cards at any time, anywhere in the building.


Electronic Locks

Helios™ Door Entry Systems are manufactured by 2N Telekomunikase, a leading European telecommunications equipment company.

Helios is a unique, configurable, door entry system ideal for multi-tenanted offices, government departments, apartment buildings, prestige homes, gated communities etc. Remotely control your door access from your office, phone, mobile phone or computer!

There are 2 units available. The Telephone Based Door System can be connected to any analogue PBX extension. Helios features include calling from entrance door to your office telephone, door opening with PIN code, optional RFID card or mobile telephone.

The Helio IP is an advanced IP Video Door Phone based on the SIP standard, competitively priced and easy to use. It is the first H.264 IP video door phone on the market, supporting high quality real-time video.

Wristbands and Tickets


RFID Wristbands revolve around a tiny, flat RFID chip, sealed in a non transferable plastic wristband that uses customised software to store and transfer data which is read by RFID readers.

RFID technology helps quicken the admissions process. Also, the lack of counterfeit wristbands helps alleviate over-crowding in general. There are many other additional features to an RFID wristband. The wristband can be used as a portable electronic wallet for point of sale applications and easy tracking of sales for event organisers. The systems read/write electronic storage technology allows for easy data transfer to and from the host system. The data can be read and recorded through clothing, water, glass and the human body.

There are specialty wristbands for inmate ID, patient ID and the leisure and entertainment industry. Reusable silicone wristbands are also available in a range of colours.

Smartcards


Electro-Com supplies a wide range of contactless smart-card and RFID card technologies in the low frequency, high frequency and ultra high frequency bands. Applications include access control, presonnel identification, electronic ticketing and e-commerce.

Electro-Com stock the most commonly requested contactless card technologies, however others can be sourced to meet the customers specification.

Long Range Access Control


Hyper X™ is a highly reliable semi-passive vehicle identification system. Speeds in excess of 100 km/hr and distances up to 10 metres. Well defined identification areas, interference immunity, small size antennas, multi-tag read capability and a warranted tag lifetime.

Ideal for vehicle access, rail and fleet applications and true hands-free personnel access. Hyper X "Top S" version offers enhanced security measures for sensitive military and government sites.

Proximity Access Control


Electro-Com provides a wide range of proximity access control reader and tags from comapnies such as Secura Key, Texas Instruments and AceProx.

Secura Key offers a full line of Access Control proximity cards and readers, stand alone units, contactless smartcards, smartcard readers, reader/writers, access control panels and software.

AceProx Identifikationssysteme (Germany) is a specialised manufacturer and distributor of RFID and proximity access control hardware. AceProx is a well respected supplier of 125kHz and 13.56 MHz cards and readers to the security markets in Europe and South Africa.
