The easy to use "plug and play" 13.56 MHz High Frequency Evaluation Kit gives you the opportunity to explore the capabilities of TI-RFID™ Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology brought to you by Electro-Com RFID Technologies Australia.
The core of the 13.56 MHz Evaluation kit is the Series 6400 reader which has the ability to read, write and program all high frequency cards and labels compliant to ISO 15693 and ISO 18000.3-1. The readers are also compatible to read all ISO14443-A tags/cards (e.g. MIFARE cards with s50 Phillips chip).
The Series 6400 reader has a universal Wiegand (26 bit - 64 bit) output and RS-485 serial interface that can be linked to COM1 of a computer, so you can read, write and program cards using demonstration software provided in this kit.
The kit also comes with a variety of Read/Write (R/W) programmable cards/tags which are ISO/IEC 15693 compliant and have 2000 bits of user programmable memory. Samples of the tags include punchable cards with magnetic stripe, key ring (keyfob) tags and adhesive labels. CD/DVD transponders are also now available.
