.:Supply Chain breakthrough in RFID Technology :.

July 2nd , 2007

Announcing X-idents InMould RFID transponder for reusable plastic containers from producer to retailer, perishable products such as fruits and vegetables, meat, fish, bread and dairy products etc are usually transported in reusable plastic containers. The plastic containers contribute not only to the considerable reduction of the logistics costs (ROI) through the distribution chain, but also to environmental protection. The logistics process can be optimised by using RFID transponders that are already firmly attached to the plastic boxes during production via an injection procedure.

The RFID tags are attached to the plastic boxes on a molecular level and develop a flat finish on the container surface. Therefore, compared to normal adhesive labels, InMould-Tags become more resistant within the cleaning process when subjected to high-pressure blasters and chemicals, UV radiation and physical damage during transport.

Global Band Width - Strong - Sturdy

The X-ident InMould-Tag has been developed for the challenging uses of reusable plastic boxes. It remains functional even through the harshish conditions during the production process and can be reused for the general life of the box.

The InMould-Tag incorporates innovative antenna technology, which in turn provides the best reading quality whilst shrink-wrapped. Due to its broad frequency range abilities across the UHF bandwidth, this tag can be used in worldwide applications, from Europe, Asia and the USA with the respective effective standarisation. The InMould-Tag is produced in commercial standard dimensions as well as customised versions on request.
