Electro-Com ( Australia ) Pty Ltd has signed a distribution partnership with Brooks Automation to represent the Australian and New Zealand sales channels for its radio frequency identification (RFID) reader range of products.

Originally a subcontractor for the semiconductor industry, Brooks RFID products are designed to meet the highest quality, safety and reliability requirements necessary for mission critical applications.
Brooks also have more than 10 years experience in the field of identification via RFID technology.

Brooks RFID Division provides a comprehensive RFID product assortment. It ranges from tracking sub-components that can easily be integrated into existing networks to stand-alone handheld RFID tracking devices that can serve as the backbone for a wireless system.

Brooks RFID Division provides RFID products for 134.2 kHz (LF) and 13.56 MHz (HF) technologies, especially readers and accessories. All HF readers comply with ISO15693 standard. Brooks range of products also includes Mobile Readers and Card-Readers for enabling PDAs to read tags anywhere.
