FEIG Electronic is well established and has been in business for more than 35 years. They specialise in contactless identification (RFID) door controllers and traffic sensor technology. FEIG Electronic was established in 1970 and employs approximately 150 staff numbers and is located in Germany. They have just released 3 new products which range from a Bluetooth hand-held reader to hand-held antennas
New OBID i-scan® HF Bluetooth Hand-held Reader
FEIG ELECTRONIC offers with the proximity Hand-held Reader ID ISC.PRH101-B a 13.56 MHz Bluetooth-Reader from the product family OBID i-scan® HF.
The Multi-tag Reader (ISO 15693 and ISO 18000-3 tags) has a maximum reading / writing distance of up to 18cm and is suitable especially for mobile use in connection with a laptop. PDA or laptop can be used as a mobile host, e.g. as data collector. The readers own power supply allows RF transmitting power, that enables identification of transponders which are very close together.
Recharchable battery capacity of 2100 mA allows up to 5000 Scans within five hours.
New Hand-held Antenna for 13.56 MHz Mid Range Readers
FEIG ELECTRONIC has developed a new antenna from the product family OBID i-scan® HF.
The convenient Hand-held antenna bears analogy to a squash raquet and will be connected with the Mid Range Readers ID ISC.MR101 resp. ID ISC.MR200 via a two meter long connection cable.
The antenna has a maximum reading / writing distance of 35cm and is suitable for example inventory monitoring, outstandingly.
New OBID i-scan® HF Long Range Reader
FEIG ELECTRONIC offers with the Long Range Reader ID ISC.LR2000-A resp, the Long Range Reader Unit ISC.LRM2000-A, two new 13.56 MHz Readers from the product family OBID i-scan® HF.
Due to the used antennas, the Multitag-Readers (ISO 15693, ISO 18000-3 and EPC HF), the readers have a maximum reading / writing distance of up to 2 meters. So they are suitable to be used in fields of application like retail, logistics and industry which require long read ranges and anti-collision function.
The readers anti-collision function facilitates simultaneous identification of up to 100 transponders per second even through packagings. Beside the housing variant ID ISC.LR2000-A there are 2 reader units available.
The unit variant ID ISC.LRM2000-A has exactly the same features like the housing variant. The second unit variant ID ISC.LRM2000-B posesses no second digital board and so no BRM function, Ethernet and WLAN interface.
